Amidst the glistening waves,
An alternate universe of endless sea,
She splashed and caught the sun
On her silken hair and her milky-pearl skin
On her streamlined fins and her layered scales
With glints and flecks of exquisite light
As she flowed with the current
Towards the luscious hues of the reef
To reside accompanied by the stars and shells,
To sing to the fish drifting, gliding by,
All the while lost in the blue.
