A leader Falls
Black Feather.
Crow Caws.
Dark Weather.
Skin Crawls.
We know the time has come,
as rain falls.
Running home,
a lone wolf calls.
Pack moves as one,
no need to speak.
We find him alone,
wounded and weak.
Death is here,
a familiar friend.
No need for fear,
for all he will send.
His time has come,
after leading us into the sun.
An now we take him home,
with one last run.
