Forgive Me For Loving You
I know I shouldn’t love you, for I know that it’s wrong.
I have to move on, but your eyes are such a charm.
Your smile is so joyful that it makes me feel so hopeful.
But I know I shouldn’t love you.
For I know I’m not the one.
You see me as a friend, and yes indeed we are friends.
I also see you as a beloved, and a beloved for me you’ll be.
You never knew the truth, for the fear of loosing you.
Although I never had you, rejection splits you up so much more.
It’s better off to leave things,
Just the way they are
Because I know I shouldn’t love you, so forgive me if I do.
