Can You See Me Dying?
Can you see me dying?
In this world for me there is no hope,
I'm sick of you joking and lying,
When with this life I cannot cope.
Can you see me dying?
Because my heart is dropping to the floor,
You ripped it out of my chest,
And quickly ran out the door.
Can you see me dying?
And how anymore I'm not trying,
Don't tell me lies, I can tell you're lying,
Only your own self you're defying.
Can you see me dying?
You said you'd give me all I wanted,
But instead you took everything I had,
And stepped on it until it became dust and left.
Can you see me dying?
My life is slipping from my hands,
And when to the floor it lands,
Don't pick it up, let it just rest.
Can you see me dying?
All I worked so hard for,
You ruined and shot into space,
Until I had nothing at all left.
If you can't see me dying,
Then make the darkness go away,
And like a lonely star in the early morning sky,
In front of you eyes I will die away.
