My Sisiter is a Changing Butterfly
Caterpillar:
At first, we were at the same school,
I was in kindergarten and she was in 7th grade.
When she was walking with her friends,
they would say hello to me.
My sister liked me then,
but didn’t love me yet
because I got all the attention.
Cocoon:
Then, she went off to high school.
We didn’t get to see each other as much as we used to.
She also thought I was annoying.
She had her friends,
and I had mine.
Fewer hellos we said
Butterfly:
Now she is in college
and barely comes home.
However, when she does come home
she is always happy to see me, and
she loves me more then ever!
Through the years she has changed so much.
From a caterpillar,
to a cocoon,
and then to a butterfly.
Now, she’s all grown up
into a butterfly
