Where I’m From
I am from my mothers’ womb until I was born
I am from my fathers arms
I am from making playful new mind boggler games
I am from funny family nicknames
I am from Christmas kind acts of love
I am from praising god above
I am from dreaming unusual dreams
I am from decorating Christmas trees
I am from summer trips afar
I am from 9 hour rides in my grandmothers’ car
I am from learning horse shoes to anything
I am from park slides and swings
I am from family get together
I am from cuddling up in cold weathers
I am from hard work and determination
I am being told to be patient
I am from teaching siblings all I know
I am from leaving room to grow
