Hear it beckon thee
The Black Eternal Sea
Feel its sorrow and despair
Hear souls cry from there pitiless lair

Feel the Black Eternal Sea
As it reaches out for thee
See souls writher in their pain
See them struggle to escape
All attempts in vain

You struggle and you strive
To try and stay alive
But the time has now arrived
Time to say goodbye

This horrid sound
It fills your ears
All the screams and cries
As you struggle to escape
As you slowly die

A little depressing but still good I think, but hey you tell me.

Hey, this is really good. I like your stuff, especially The Raven's Tear, that gave me chills. I can realate to how you feel about how long it takes for poems to get posted. I just have one suggestion: you don't have to rhyme everything if you don't feel like it. If that's what works for you, then great, but I know I have trouble w/ rhyme schemes. You might be able to say what you want better without that restriction. Thanks for the comment!
