Destination Nowhere
Feet too eager to stand
So I run
Run fast
And let the speed
Take me
To this place where
Problems are
Gone-
Dissolved in the mist
Legs begin to quiver
So I accelerate
To block out the feeling
But my thoughts run rapidly,
Nipping at my heels
They zip
And zap
Far quicker than light
Or sound
Hot breath
Explodes from my lungs
Like a pistol from its barrel
As I make my way
To my destination
Of nowhere.
What a rush
To know
My destination is
Nowhere.
