Driver's Ed and Memories
Three hour boredom sitting in class
Telling us how to step on the gas
Haven't we spent enough time in school?
Then again I can't look like a fool
Like when I was young in my dad's lap
Garbage can down, shovel broke with a snap
He still loves to tell that story and laugh
And it still scares me to go too fast
But now I have to get in and sit down
And see what will happen this time around
