The Siren
Eyes like the ocean,
Crisp, pure, and blue.
Hair a deep auburn,
a wonderful flustered hue.
Smile like the moonlight
Upon the sandy shore,
Song like a golden star,
Leaving sailors wanting more.
Tail as bright as an Indian sunrise,
Skin as pale as the sky,
Beauty to not be believed
Which betwixt the foolish eye.
So easily she lulled them in,
So quick the men did die,
As she sang her song of love for them,
Beneath a blood red sky.
