It had always been a dream of mine
To float among the clouds
I’d be weightless with no worries
The stars would be my friends

So when I finally got the chance
You know I leapt right to the moon
The world was left far behind
And I did just what I pleased

The clouds tasted how I’d always imagined
Cotton candy spun up just right
And instead of cheese, the moon was candy
I devoured till it was only a crescent

Eventually I felt a tug
My mother said wake up
I can only hope to go back tonight
To my dream among the clouds

For something as beautiful as this, why not try a little rhyming?
