The Cabin
Standing still in the winter,
breathing in fresh Rico air,
colors bloom,
rain comes and washes away the cold,
soaking up the sun every summer day,
people come and the white washed walls warm with laghter,
shadows of faces set on the cabins windows,
fireworks fill the canyon with echoes,
a fire warms up bodies as marshmellows are roasted,
summer slowly floats away,
the cabin is left alone..
alone..
until next year
