Summertime is a time to settle down
To go to the beach or just lay on the ground
To enjoy playing in the water under the sun
It’s a time to forget about school and just go out and have some fun
Or maybe even go to the mall and shop
While wearing shorts and purple flip-flops
Eating ice-cream and junk food all the way through
While the sky being so beautiful and blue
To go to the movies with a friend
This fun and relaxing time would soon come to an end
But always be remembered
Until summertime would return again.
