And when hard times come I try to stay strong
But you can only be so strong for so long
Hiding my pain by painting a smile on my face
I just wonder how long I can do it before they see that it's fake
I hold my head head up high, just so I won' t cry
Doing what I can just to get by
Wishing upon stars hoping my dreams will comes true
That way the suffering will be through
Waiting for my angel to come and take me away
I know God will keep me safe
And I ask why've I been through so much
I suppose I've ran into bad luck
Counting my blessings day by day
And unto the Lord I pray
