When it passes

When will it end?
Days go by wondering if ill ever be known as myself and not the shadow of my sibling
Having lost so much there’s no reason to get hurt
Always falling once you get better then your afraid of who you really are
Covering up and not feeling a thing always protected you
Using booze and drugs to get through it
Knowing it hurts you even more and the people who care
Wanting to feel like you belong and knowing the person you strive to have approval from will never accept who you were and who you are now
Will it ever pass I ask
