Like A Forgotten Book on the Floor

Like a forgotten book on the floor
We are here all alone
And as I sit here alone I start to realize how many are left

Like a forgotten book on the floor
The walls are slowly peeling away
The stairs are breaking slowly
Just like a part of out souls

Like a forgotten book on the floor
The children are slowly loosing it
Even though there are so little of us
Our cries go on and on

Like a forgotten book on the floor
Food has become scarce
Even though we eat as much as we can
Our bones still protrude out
