On the great Atlantic .
Sailed the great Titanic.
Largest ship to sail the sea.
It was headed towards New York City.

On April 14, 1912,fifth day at sea.
The water’s calmness was eerie.
Ice warnings came in quickly.

A chunk of ice floated by,
It struck the side nearby.
The metal was torn away.
The ship was shrouded in doomsday.

Water flooded the hallways.
People scurried like they were in a maze.
As the ship began to sink,
The stern came to a peak.

Its fate had been decided in a blink.
Survivors began to sink
Into the shadowy waters below.
Never to be seen beyond this sorrow.
Survivors watched from afar.
Rowin away from the bizarre,
Hoping there love ones are safe.
And they will escape.
