From the salt and peppered steak.
From the backyard golf course,
And the sport court.
I’m from the broken windows,
The mother’s frowns.
I’m from the time outs,
The sleep-overs.
I’m from the detentions,
The suspensions.
I’m from the discipline,
The discipline that makes me.

This is the best poem I've ever tried to read! I got stuck on the third word but the first two were great. I'm gonna go r a b brb.
