The beach in San Juan is very beautiful. I feel the breeze fly through the little hairs on my arms. I hear the birds chirping.
It tastes like freshly chopped up Guavas all over the beach; the smell makes me crack a smile once or twice.
It feels love, when my loved one first touches my body and I got that shivering feeling of warmth
I can see Hispanic women dance in the sand with their flattering dresses. Everyone starts clapping to the women dancing. The sounds of claps and people saying, “Mamacita dance” send chills up my spine.
I hear Spanish music, the music I remember hearing the in the Bronx. I think its meringue.
I start to count every feet print I leave behind me. I start to write in the brown sugar color sand, that’s say Puerto Rico is one of a kind.
