Yeah, it hurts.
Yes, it's pain.
But it's only blood,
it's only rain.
It's just a gash,
here in my side.
It's only flesh.
It's not my pride.
Oh man, this hurts,
really, really bad.
But please don't worry.
Don't be sad.
I'll be okay,
here on this street
where blood and rain
and angels meet.
It's getting cold,
but it's not the rain.
My body is numb
to ease the pain.
I close my eyes
for death or sleep.
It's not so bad,
so please don't weep.
