IT A BEAUTIFUL MORNING

It almost noon and the sun is high and bright in the pale blue sky
As I sit here, surround by music, and thoughts of you knock on my doors.
At a distance I heard the faint sound of the wind-bells out side the window
And I watch as the sun spread her golden sheets on fallen snow last night
I imagining an image of a soft breeze caress your face and blow your hair back
I saw sunlight playfully cling on your eyelashes and coloring your cheeks.
I saw you laugh at his jokes and your eyes linger on his face,
And I know you are happy with him somewhere out there…


High above winter’s frosted trees fly two little birds
Despite the cold outside, together they fly, together they hunt
I smiled at the sight of them adoring one another in the snow,
At least they are together, and I still lost in thoughts of you.
As the evening slowly approach on this winter wonder land
The golden sunlight start to fade, leaving a crimson horizon
The birds had gone to their shelter, and sitting here in silence,
At a distance I still hear the faint sound of the wind-bells…
