Oprah
Born down in Mississippi
Where the farm animals roam
Many consider her a queen
As she sits on her throne
One of the most affluent
Blacks of our time
Helping to improve the lives of others
As they stand in line
Now you can say “she ain’t nobody.”
But then you’ll be lying
One of the richest in the world
Naw she ain’t Nickel and Diming
Every weekday afternoon billions of people tune in
Just to see the “Queen of Talk” as she begins
To change the world
one good deed at a time.
Handing out free cars
And meals from KFC
Even taking it upon herself
To build a school for those in need
A courageous woman is she
Talk Show Host, Actress, and Pioneer
A wonderful black woman
Getting stronger by the years
She’s a role model that we all
Could stand to look up to
Oprah Winfrey for President
