I hear my coach shout your name
I realize it is time to go on the ice
I do your warm-ups and get on the ice
I do a jump
I fall
I get up and try again
I land the jump!
I see your coach smile
I now skate proud
I practice some more
I hear my coach tell you it is time to go
Now it is time to stretch

Training Off the Ice…
We run around the track to warm-up
We practice our jumps
We jump rope
We do exercises for our jumps
We sprint up and down the stairs
Now we can have some fun and do relay races

After working hard we are ready to compete
Performances…
You hear your cheering fans shout your name
You see the spotlights turn as the crowd quiets
You hear your music begin
You skate with speed
You feel your dress flutter in the wind
You jump
You spin
You smile at the judges
You skate so proud
You twirl
