The deep blue ocean that rested in her twinkling eyes
Were of sapphires, that shone even in the night sky,
Their gaze fell upon the unworthy ground,
That she walked upon, without a sound,
She felt a presence, that lingered at her side,
She felt weary, and looked to Him and sighed,
A single tear fell from her face,
Not of sadness, no! But of happiness, because she has found her place,
It resided beyond the bright stars, in the heavens above,
For her time was over, with the ones she loved,
They walked onward to the light He gestured to,
And carried on through,
She looked back once more,
Then turned to enter with our Father through heaven’s doors.
