Some restaurants feature signature dishes

And some might have fountains where little kids make wishes

There are more than just fancy places, there are hot dog stands

Around those stands there might be screaming fans


Toys, toys, toys galore

Big toys and small toys and a lot more

Toys ‘r us and FAO Schwartz are both in mid-town

When you go there you won’t have a frown


A lot of people don’t have a car

They take the taxi and might go to a bar

Rich and poor New York has it all

Even though lately they’ve had an economic fall
