Shopping
Rainbow colored shirts hanging in the rows,
My favorite aqua blue hanging all alone,
A hand grasps the hanger, No! There it goes,
I buy the pink and in a flash I’m gone.
The shop next door where shoes lay wall to wall,
Those new gladiators screaming my name,
Do you think I could get those in a small?
They are sadly too tight, oh what a shame!
Walked in the last store, smells hitting my face,
It catches my eye, the black and white dress,
Waiting in line for a fitting room space,
Slipping it on, it’s a wonderful success!
Paying for the dress hearing that ring-ring,
Fully satisfied I just want to sing.
