The path I walk is now,
devoid of lie,
devoid of you and the love you gave me.
Once you would be with me,
walking the path with me,

left me for the approval of your friends and family.
You chose her over me,
if only to gain your family's love again.
never thinking of the hurt ou would give me,
you walked away into her arms.
The hurt I feel is causing me to hate you,
if only to ignore the feelings of love that remain.
You gave up the fight for our love,
and in return you got your friends and family back.
You gave up everything we created,
to gain them back.
Yet, you still glances at me,
stare at me.
Maybe you regret your choice,
or maybe you still feel love for me,
or both.
Your glance still makes me weak,
and for the I despise myself.
You made your choice.
No matter how much regret you feel,
No matter how much love remains,
No matter how much your choice hurts you,
you made your choice;
It wasn't me.
You can't go back,
can't turn back time.
You have to deal with the consequences,
for the choice you made wasn't for you,
it was for them.
For them you lost me,
and unlike them,
I won't take you back.
