I approach the lion
Getting closer and closer
I walked to it
Accepting my fate

Getting closer and closer
The lion looks up
Accepting my fate
His next meal

The lion looks up
Alert, he sees
His next meal
Coming towards him

Alert, he sees
Something approaching
Coming towards him
Slowly but surely

Something approaching
More than human
Slowly but surely
Less than human

More than human
I started to feel
Less than human
With myself

I started to feel
Unconvinced
With myself
I stopped my approach

Unconvinced
Unsatisfied
I stopped my approach
And I backed away

Unsatisfied
The lion stepped forward
as I backed away
Realizing my mistake

The lion stepped forward
Accepting my fate
Realizing my mistake
I approach the lion
