Summertime
Lying on the beach without a care
Summer breeze blowing through my hair
In my skin I let the sun’s rays soak
It’s hot outside, no more need for coats
There’s little kids running through the sand
While I sit here laughing at the red sunburned man
Listening through the seashells I can hear the ocean
My skin is glistening from all the sun lotion
People are building sand castles with shovels and pails
I watch a big shiny boat away as it sails
Seagulls everywhere flying over my head
It’s summertime now, enough has been said!
