Am i asking too much?
Did you give it all up first?
Is this my fault?
I'm the mouse, you're the cat,
You can claw me, but i escape, wounded.
Am i asking too much?
Did the grass stains on my jeans stain your heart?
Can you even hear my voice over your screams?
I'm like the spiderwebs in the corner,
Ignored but acknowledged.
Am i asking too much?
To catch me when i fall?
Or to atleast be there when i fall?
Am i asking too much,
For a little love, mom?
