Hope Is Fading
A glimmer of hope, reflecting off her crystalline eyes.
As I think about this wondrous lady, I let out huge sighs.
Hope, that our souls may one day combine,
It’s like a faint light, weak yet divine.
This hope is fragile, this I know,
Yet it is as lovely as fresh fallen snow.
This hope must never fade away,
It shall never leave me try as it may.
For when hope is gone
Why should we live to see the next dawn?
