The Computer Screen

Such a stupid machine
That computer screen,
Staring at me
Laughing with glee
While I cry and pout,
And scream and shout.
It has stopped yet again,
And I thought it was my friend.
But no, it freezes and lags,
Though I clean it with rags.
It starts and stops then stops and starts
I regret the day I threw it in the shopping cart.
But what’s this I see,
It unfroze for me.
I can hate that stupid, old, ridiculous computer screen
But I also can love that wonderful, magnificent machine.
