Gravity pushes Pearl down as she feels

Earth's sporadic sudden sensations

Missing the embrace of her loved one

She whizzes through the sky as it leads her into her arms

A frog in the throat filled with puke

Is confused whether or not if it’s the result of elevation or eagerness

Two hours of physical tightness seems as if it’s nothing

Compared to the six month separation between the coasts

Because any distance is worth traveling

For Cor to light up her life

As the old dirty river waves at her

“Welcome home”

Waves crashing together as if they high five each other

She peaks outside the window

As she travels at the speed of light

A smile spread across her face

Blue waters sparkle back matching the sparkle in her eye

The time has finally come

She remembers how the Philly air feels on her dry face

As it whizzes past her through Terminal C’s doors

Graduation sticks in the back of her mind

Days countdown as the mystery of where will home be called remains

Wouldn’t being able to teleport make all of life's complications

Go away, as easy as biting the thin pizza slice

Folding it in half, the hotdog way

Perhaps the world is flat, she dreads her best friend

Because she loves her. Her strong opinions

Re: feminism is for everyone, the orange is racist,

Airlines should charge less for tickets,

Distance is an unfair torturous punishment

SHE owns the top of the Rockefeller Center
