As the Seasons Go By

Springs almost here, I can’t wait
Going fishing and using worm for bait

Flowers will bloom colors so bright
Frogs will be croaking till ten at night

Love being outside in the fresh air
But sometimes inside just sitting in a chair

Closer to summer school will be out
All the kids so happy they could shout

Fourth of July fireworks will fly
Everyone’s watching them high in the sky

Going to Des Moines for the State Fair
Going to get a foot-long corndog there

Fall is here the leaves are changing
All the farmers will be harvesting

Now its cold, on the ground there’s snow
Got to cut wood to burn in the stove

New Years here we’ll watch the ball drop
In New York City the whole world will stop

Guess what we’re back to spring
The entire years starting over again
