Beyond the Window

When I gaze out the open window, the world of nature comes alive.
The gorgeous green grass and the bright blue skies
Seem to gracefully dance with magic before my eyes.
All the little birds, full of glee, begin chirping for me to hear.
Ivory petals of sweetly scented gardenias that are near
Glisten in the radiant sun after the morning shower here.
As the wind softly blows, the trees shiver with delight,
Glowing fireflies captivatingly float into sight,
And animals hoot and howl joyfully in the night.
How could being indoors ever feel right?
