As the Air Begins to Heat Up
As the air begins to heat up
The sun begins to clear up
All grogginess from being stuck in school
The sunshine on our faces
We think of happy places
Of which we may be going very soon
All the bathing suits come out
And teenagers begin to doubt
Whether they’d see anything but the pool
But again as summer fades
I think of all the grades
That will be coming my way back at school
