Favorite Quote:
"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed"

Many whispers come across
Across the water
Across the mountain
From the wind
From the trees
The birds whisper
Wondering to do with the dread

Rocks whisper
About the travels they have had
Seagulls whisper
Of the amazing day at sea

The walls seem to whisper
“Don’t be closed in”

Whispers in the dark
They come from trees, from wind
From rocks, from rain, and from the shadows

One shadow whispers to another
The shadow cackles evilly

The Earth whispers
“Calm down little ones”
It whispers
“Come my children. Visit the sea. Taste the air.”

The shadows from the dark
The grow louder
And louder
And louder
Until
Shrieks
Coming from the shadows
Don’t move, and don’t pretend he is still there

The Earth seems to whisper
“Go ahead close your eyes
I mean you no harm”
Then the whispers fade
And all is quiet
