In the Rain

I’m listening to music
and typing up this poem
and watching the rain fall down
and listening to the thunder.

The rain reminds me of so much
because it reminds me of me
and it reminds me of you
and it reminds me of, everything

It reminds me of coffee
because I love rain and I love the smell of coffee
and it reminds me of vanilla
because that’s your favorite scent
and rain is your favorite weather, too.

I want to be outside in the rain.
There isn’t any place I’d rather be
than in the rain,
with you.

I love the rain too! I like the smell of coffee and vanilla but I don't like the taste. :)
