Jack In The Box
Crawling from the dust of ambition
Cigarette smoke lit by a mermaids kiss
I am your scarecrow, Your cookie jar obsession
I'm the keyhole to the ocean, Your sweet tooth abyss
Trailing behind you like a snail shell cart
You say “Hi”, I reply with soft spoken smirk
I hand you my jack in the box heart
Winding it Topsy turvy, Camera flash gone berserk
I walk away dragging your lovely hands
Under the ocean lips we will be safe
There we can kiss till the time of sands
Our hearts rub together, Warming face to face
The tender meeting of skin to soul
Plucked our heartstrings, Charisma flew
Your penguin wing hug fills the black hole
Clinging to my heart, My shy lips whisper “I love you”
