Baseball Thrill
Baseball Thrills
As you sit in the dugout, nerves set in,
Your heart is racing as you wait to hit,
There is only one option: you must win
So never give up, you must never quit.
Once you stand up, there is no turning back,
You know you’ll have full support of your team
Strike one, strike two, there it is, the bat cracks,
You feel like you’re in your ultimate dream.
As you begin to run towards first base,
Your legs feel like they are running on air
You turn the corner like this is a race,
You almost fall, but you don’t even care.
As you are sprinting down the third base line,
You cross over home, feeling mighty fine.
