Succumbing Guilt

I push love down
To the depths of my hate
Where the darkness pulls
My love is tainted by my fear
As it decays
And degrades
My heart slows to a steady pace
As I loose myself
In this succumbing guilt
I fade
Into the dark
And I loose my love
Inside it twists
And turns
Into my hate
And my fear
And I think to myself

“The world is lost”

This was written about someone I held dear, but she didnt return the favor, she asked me to destroy my feelings for her, so I did. and it ruined me
