I sit in the green grass, still wet from dew
I feel the wind rushing through me
Clearing my head of all thoughts
The sun’s gentle touch
Warming every inch of my body
Erasing all tensions
The sound of robins chirping
It is the last thing I hear
As I am lulled into sleep
I am in a new world
My pains and problems gone
The world is just quiet, calm, peaceful

I wrote this short poem after sitting outside for an hour. I hope the reader will see the calmness of nature.
