Picture Frame
You would think that I would know them by now
I mean, I’ve been holding this memory for such a long time
I look at these people and wonder who they are
I see the visitors come in and out
But cannot identify them
Because they have no meaning to me
They are as meaningless to me as I am to them
I just sit here all day and hold their memories,
They have no idea how much I want to live their lives and make my own
To experience the life that they have would be a privilege
They take their lives for granted
One day they will be like me
Sitting around, doing nothing
