Two Minutes to Breakdown
It’s two minutes to breakdown
And all I am is numb
Staring silently into space
Not connected to the earth
I hear a distant screaming
Farther and farther away
But all I can do is stand there
Not near you in any way
And so I think I’m in need of a sunrise
Though this is where we differ
As you’re in need of a sunset
The end of your chapter
Chaos does surround us
I can’t touch it
You can’t hear it
Only we know it’s there
I’m separated from reality
Inside another dimension
It’s two minutes to breakdown
And I won’t feel you there
