The darkness is
Often thought of as
As black. Why?
It is beautiful.
Glittering Stars.
Shooting Stars.
Mercury. Venus. Mars.
The Earth’s time to rest.
Peace. Quiet.
Yet so… alive.
Some animals thrive
in the dark.
Owl, Coyote, Raccoon.
People, too.
Black is the absence
Of all colors.
So why do we think
of darkness as black?
Darkness is all colors.
Blue. White. Green.
Shades and hints.
Look around.
Embrace the
Darkness for it, too,
Holds miracles.
