There are some things
Feelings
Scenes
That cannot be
Bought
Cannot be
Stolen
And are natural rights
To all
Like the first spring day
The first
Real
Spring day
When the air is light on your tongue
You feel like all the weight
Stress
And uncertainty
Has been lifted off your shoulders
Or in the night
Not too cold
But cool
When you're all alone
But not lonely
And as you run
Across the field
And feel the wind
Slide across your face
And see the moonlight, and stars
Focusing
Watching
Over you
Or the first time
The pool is opened
And you slip your body in
Gasping at the cold water
And at your
Stiff joints
But you keep moving
And swim
Like you were born
In the water
Like you were
Meant to be
