Ideas slumber
In the strangest of places,
Under rocks
In your socks
Behind your bed
Or on your head

Or even
In that corner
That is so piled with clothes
Dust
Dirt
And too many other things to count
That you cannot see the floor

That corner
Where things disappear
And never come back

The corner where nobody cares to look
That is neglected
Un-cleaned
Not recognized as part of the house

The corner
Where you one day put your socks
And the next day they were gone
And when you finally found them
They were covered
In dust bunnies

The corner where you try
To leave all your
Sadness
Anger
Confusion
So they will not bother you anymore

Yes,
That corner
Which stares at you all day
Giving you the feeling
That someone is watching you

And maybe
Just maybe
If you clean up
Pick up those cloths
Sweep the dust
Take out the books
Papers
And whatever else there is
And look at the now shiny
Clean
Floor

You might
Just find

An Idea

Don't cross oceans for people who wouldn't jump puddles for you.

Not quite as good as your other 2 but the comparison to the corner and feelings were fantastic!
