Another World
Television
melts our brains to mush.
the keeper of unrealistic reality shows,
the source of livelihood for thousands of actors
breaking into this business we call show.
The absorption of time, taken from you by the
never ending string of programs.
The escape,
the variety given in effort to make everyone satisfied.
The creation of another world when yours doesn’t seem to be going
quite right.
The comfort of structure in your life,
being able to see the
same characters at the
same time everyday.
It allows for the brain to take a breath,
the body to sigh,
and the eyes to be entertained by
Television.
