Tick Tock
Although the clouds have passed
My fear still lingers in the darkened hours
Above the silent candle smoke
There but not
Not but there
The chandelier hangs broken, grimy
In the webs of the eternal clock
Tick
Tock
When will fear come to pass once more
Tick
Tock
Through the window the rain begins to trickle down
Hit the ground outside
Pitter patter
Tick
Tock
I trace the everlasting droplets as they roll
Slowly
Ever so slowly
Until they dissapear.
