So Close to Not Being Perfect.

stay right where you are, ive got
plans for you my dear. i
swear it wont take long, hold on
tight to your fear. You left
with a message, written without
the slightest doubt. My heart
lies broken, im calling you out.
You hide your feelings, i can
tell theyre not true. You lie to
the new girl who hasnt a
clue. As to what you have to say
to this im not sure. Your
love for me was once so pure.
Planned to stay forever more
nothing but just that boy next
door, i myself live on.

Im forced to live with the
memories and thoughts of your touch. For me, my dear, this is
just too much. Everyday i live in fear for my words may come pouring
out into your thought of mind, and in your heart youll have to find
the courage to say what youve always wanted. those trees, they
always seem haunted. These memories we shared, theyll always
stay with us. Do you know what youre getting yourself into? These
nights i spend alone , i cant take. Those promises you made,
you'd always break.

Darling, i would make you mine;
with a tearing heart, and a
daring mind. If you searched your
heart, i bet you could find
that small flame of what we left
behind.

I woke up in fright, hoping I'd
pass over night. Baby, see
what you do to me? Im trying,
trying to be free, but you pull
me back to the past and how we
used to be. These lies, they
get to my thoughts. Thinking we'd
last forever, forever together.
I was wrong.

FANTABULOUS!!!! :D!!!! I can relate, oh yes, and that is a great thing for a writer to have from their readers: relating. You've got talent my friend! And like you I too have those "author-moments"...it's with those moments that the best emotionally driven poems come from, and honey, you proved that true. WAY TO GO!! WOOT!
